Great to meet you!

I have spent over four years helping adults, teens, and families. I've had training in trauma-informed treatment, grief, and crisis response. I spent a total of six years in higher education studying this profession. I prioritize understanding the client’s experiences without judgment, using active listening and empathic responses to show that I genuinely understand their perspective

My approach to therapy

I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or Psychodynamic approaches, depending on what best aligns with the client’s needs. I focus on helping clients identify and build on their strengths, as well as explore practical solutions to current issues. I often incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion exercises, helping clients develop resilience and reduce self-criticism.

What you can expect from me

Overall, clients can expect to feel more empowered, gain clarity on their goals, and build lasting skills that they can continue to use beyond therapy. This environment and these goals foster a path toward self-acceptance, growth, and a greater ability to handle life’s challenges.
