Great to meet you!

My passion for counseling grew from more than 20 years of working with children and teens. I believe that feeling heard, understood, and accepted can be an important part of the healing process. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University and work with children, adolescents, young adults, and women. I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients and those experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and women’s issues.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when you feel safe, supported, and free to be yourself. I strive to create a warm, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. When appropriate, I also partner with parents to strengthen communication, understanding, and connection at home. I tailor therapy to each client’s needs, interests, and goals, drawing from CBT, EMDR, art and play therapy, and practical life-skills support. Together, we’ll build on your strengths and develop tools to help you feel more confident and connected.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating for both children and adults. My mission is to create a comfortable space where you can feel at ease. We’ll move at your pace, take time to get familiar with the therapy process, and build a trusting relationship together.
