Great to meet you!

I believe mental health treatment works best as a collaborative partnership. I take time to understand each client's unique experiences, symptoms, strengths, and goals before developing an individualized treatment plan. Treatment may include medication management, psychoeducation, lifestyle recommendations, and referrals for therapy or additional services when appropriate.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I believe that each person is unique, and treatment should be tailored to their individual needs, goals, and life circumstances. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and actively participating in treatment decisions.

I take a holistic approach that considers emotional, psychological, physical, social, and environmental factors that may affect mental health. My services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychoeducation, and coordination of care with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate. My goal is to help clients develop effective coping skills, improve daily functioning, and achieve lasting emotional wellness while empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation focused on understanding their concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, current functioning, and treatment goals. I will ask questions about mood, anxiety, attention and concentration, sleep, stressors, past treatment experiences, family history, and other factors that may be affecting mental health.

This initial appointment is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions, share their concerns, and discuss what they hope to achieve through treatment. Together, we will review possible diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and develop an individualized plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, lifestyle recommendations, or additional assessments as needed. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable participating in their care.
