Great to meet you!

You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. Change becomes possible when you have a trusted therapist who is fully invested in your growth and success. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), I bring more than 21 years of experience helping adults, couples, and families overcome emotional, behavioral, relationship, and co-occurring mental health challenges. My background in Clinical Psychology and Counseling Psychology, combined with specialized training in hypnosis, allows me to tailor treatment to your unique needs. I am deeply committed to helping you achieve meaningful, lasting change and leave each session feeling more empowered than when you arrived.

My approach to therapy

You deserve therapy that is both supportive and practical. My approach combines deep, person-centered therapy with hands-on guidance, concrete problem-solving, and case management when needed. I work collaboratively with you to identify goals, address obstacles, and create realistic strategies for growth. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship concerns, life transitions, or more complex psychiatric issues, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. I value building a strong therapeutic relationship and believe that lasting progress often comes through consistent, longer-term work built on trust and rapport.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin understanding your story and what brought you to therapy. During this intake session, I will gather information about your concerns, provide an initial clinical assessment and diagnosis when appropriate, and explore what success in therapy looks like for you. Together, we will begin identifying goals, discuss treatment options, establish a plan for moving forward, and determine a session frequency that fits your needs. Most importantly, this first meeting is about building a comfortable foundation so you can feel confident and supported as we begin the therapeutic process.
