Great to meet you!

I am a school counselor with five years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate personal, academic, and emotional challenges. My counseling style is direct, collaborative, and focused on helping clients develop greater self-awareness. I work to bring unconscious patterns into awareness so clients can better understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and begin breaking unhelpful cycles. I especially value those "a-ha" moments when new insights create opportunities for meaningful change. I believe the counseling relationship is ultimately about empowering clients to help themselves and build the tools they need for lasting growth.

My approach to therapy

In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and decide together on the most appropriate therapeutic approach for you. My treatment approach is highly tailored to meet your unique needs.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I'll ask you about your background, including past relationships, family dynamics, and significant life events. We'll talk about both your past and current feelings about yourself, and then move towards what specifically brought you to counseling. Then we move towards goal setting and what you are hoping to achieve by coming to counseling.
