Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Doudrige (Meme) Dorcin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support.

I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals and families facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, and parenting challenges. I specialize in supporting pregnant and postpartum women, helping them navigate the emotional changes that can come with pregnancy, motherhood, and balancing daily responsibilities.

My approach is warm, affirming, and empowering. I believe therapy should be a safe space where you feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. Together, we will explore your strengths, identify barriers that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you move toward your goals.

I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and strength-based techniques to help clients build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful change.

Whether you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, or adjusting to a new stage of life, I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

Hello, I’m Doudrige (Meme) Dorcin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Walden University and have worked in community mental health, child welfare, domestic violence services, substance abuse treatment, and maternal mental health programs.

I specialize in helping adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and pregnancy or postpartum-related challenges. My approach is warm, affirming, and empowering, creating a safe space where clients feel heard and supported.

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and strength-based approaches, I help clients build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful change. As a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Haitian Creole, I enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and helping them move toward healing, growth, and resilience.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals to better understand how I can support you. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether we’re a good fit. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and developing a plan that supports your healing and growth.
