Great to meet you!

As a retired veteran and licensed counselor, I am deeply passionate about empowering individuals to live their best lives. With specialized expertise in trauma, anxiety, and depression, I bring compassion, understanding, and evidence-based approaches to help clients navigate challenges and rediscover their strength. My military background informs my commitment to resilience and hope, and I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where every person can heal, grow, and thrive.

My goal is to aid you in your journey to improve your quality of life. As the client, my job is to guide you on your journey of healing, while ensuring that you are always the one in control.

Clinically trained and certified in trauma treatment, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mood and personality disorders. Utilizing various evidenced-based treatment modalities, I will work with you to find which treatment path is best in your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

My journey has been shaped by service, resilience, and a deep commitment to helping others overcome life’s challenges. With specialized training in trauma, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, I bring a wealth of experience to my practice, informed by both my military background and extensive clinical expertise. Having navigated high-stress environments and witnessed the impact of adversity firsthand, I understand the courage it takes to confront emotional struggles and pursue healing. Grounded in evidence-based practices, I integrate techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapies, and mindfulness to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs. I believe in fostering a safe, empathetic, and collaborative therapeutic space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their challenges. My goal is not only to help you manage symptoms but to guide you toward lasting growth, self-discovery, and a life aligned with your values.

What you can expect from me

I firmly believe that every individual possesses an inherent capacity for change, no matter the challenges they face. My experience as a retired veteran and counselor has shown me that resilience and growth are not only possible but achievable through courage, support, and intentional effort. I see change as a dynamic process, driven by self-discovery and the willingness to confront difficulties with hope. Whether addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, or mood disorders, I believe that with the right tools, guidance, and a compassionate therapeutic relationship, anyone can rewrite their story, transform their perspective, and create a life that reflects their deepest aspirations. Change is not just a possibility—it’s a powerful, attainable reality for those ready to take the first step.
