Douglas hails from the UK and moved to California in 1993. He gained his MA in Psychology in 2003 whilst working at media corporations in Europe and the US, including the BBC, Disney, ABC, and the Andrew Llyod Webber organization in London. Douglas was Licensed by the California BBS after initially interning as a clinician.

Douglas credits his corporate career with providing invaluable perspective working with professionals that may be experiencing anxiety, depression and/or career issues.
