Hi, my name is Doug Nyenke, and my background in nursing spans over sixteen years, including critical care, telemetry, and leadership roles. I evaluate and treat children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, and other mood and behavioral conditions, with a particular focus on complex and developmentally nuanced presentations.

My approach to care focuses on addressing not only the mental health needs but also the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of each client's well-being. I believe in the power of a collaborative, team-based approach to patient care, which means if you need to loop in other providers I am happy to ensure your whole care team is on the same page for you and your child.
You can expect me to prioritize your trust and well-being. Supporting your mental health is my passion. In our first session, we'll uncover what's been tried before and what symptoms you're currently facing. If this is your first time exploring medication, we'll go over pros and cons and create a plan that feels right to you. If you already have experience with medication, we can keep your current regimen if that's working, or we can discuss tweaking things or trying new things if what you've been doing just doesn't seem to be getting you to that "happy" place. Seeing my clients go from feeling hopeless and disorganized to feeling well rested and ready to tackle their day is what drives me forward.
