Great to meet you!

Having a growth mindset is a central value of my work as a therapist. My PhD is in mind/body medicine which uses various forms of evidence-based modalities that connect the mind, body, and spirit for optimal living. Practicality is also central to my work as a therapist. My approaches are rooted in Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mind/Body medicine such as imagery, visualization, and progressive muscle relaxation, mindfulness, boundary work, grief therapy, polyvagal theory, and IFS.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I engage in a coaching style, using a non-judgemental approach. I often use a coaching style asking thought provoking questions while offering framed non-judgmental feedback to deepen insight. I’m committed to putting myself out of business by equipping you with a variety of tools to manage stress, depression, anxiety, or grief. My approach is client-centered, trauma informed woven into the goal setting journey.

What you can expect from our first session

You are the expert of what matters to you. My training is grounded in mind/body medicine which incorporates skills and practices that get results and promote lifestyle changes. It's in these lifestyle changes that growth and sustained change occurs. I weave in measurement based therapy to assess existing symptoms and experiences which help clients see where they are and where they’d like to be. I use open ended questions and non-judgement dialogue to approaching goal setting.
