Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where I received comprehensive training grounded in evidence-based practice, cultural humility, and ethical clinical care. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed a strong foundation in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of behavioral and mental health concerns.

My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, working with individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and trauma-related symptoms. I have extensive experience supporting clients with complex emotional and behavioral needs, helping them develop practical coping strategies, build emotional resilience, and navigate difficult life experiences.

Although a significant portion of my clinical work has focused on providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, I also have substantial experience facilitating therapeutic work with families and couples. In these settings, I emphasize communication, emotional safety, and collaborative problem-solving to strengthen relational dynamics and promote healthier patterns of interaction.

Across all treatment modalities, I am committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental, and culturally responsive environment that honors each client's unique background, strengths, and therapeutic goals.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a holistic, person-centered approach that empowers clients to identify, process, and manage a wide range of behavioral and mental health needs. My practice integrates both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy-skills (DBT) to create a strength-based, supportive environment in which clients feel safe, heard, and understood. Through the use of mindfulness techniques and age-appropriate psychoeducation, I aim to foster meaningful insight and emotional growth. Incorporating these evidence-based modalities allows clients to comfortably explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while working toward the healing goals outlined in their individualized treatment plans.

What you can expect from me

Clients often share that they appreciate my calm, supportive, and non-judgmental counseling style. During our first session, my priority is to meet you and any participating family members exactly where you are. I strive to build a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs.

You can expect a welcoming environment in which your thoughts and feelings are valued, validated, and genuinely heard. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and empowered as we begin working together.
