Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas. Trained in many modalities of therapy, I tend toward a relational & client-centered approach that views you in the context of your environment, both present and past. In practice for over 6 years, counseling is a career change I made after 20 + years in music education and performance.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create an environment for you to feel comfortable talking openly and honestly so we can uncover the roots of your struggles and explore what can help you now. We all get stuck from time to time and could use the help that comes from speaking with someone that is not connected to the rest of your life. My focus is on collaborating with you to find what is going to best help you feel better and get back to a more centered and engaging life.

What you can expect from me

Life is full of challenges and we sometimes we find ourselves repeating unhealthy patterns. Together we can explore the details of these patterns, how they came to be, and what is keeping them going. With increased awareness, support, and new understandings of yourself, you can enact changes to improve your life.
