Great to meet you!

I am here for you, I will be your biggest fan and empowering you, while nurturing, challenging, listening, and providing honest feedback and support.

Trust, respect, and communication are the key to this relationship and will be authentic and real with you while using direct communication, humor, and trying to find positive pathways forward while also recognizing the need to process and sit in negative emotions. I have also been in therapy to overcome some of my demons and know how much courage it takes to show up to this.

My approach to therapy

There are two main approaches I take to therapy:

  1. Processing. This involves looking at everything that has brought you to this moment, trauma, relationships, experiences, beliefs, expectations, and anything that influenced you. I will provide the space for you, the questions, and support you need to process your life.
  2. Practice. Putting the tools you seek, behaviors you crave, and self care you want into practice is crucial. You will need to practice being the person you want to be. This may mean you will get homework practices from me!

What you can expect from me

Every person is unique; your goals, desires, experiences, and strengths are special to you. You can expect counseling that is tailored to you and who you want to be. Traits I find myself hopeful to instill are growth, empowerment, improved communication and boundaries, and finding the person you want to be.
