Great to meet you!

Welcome! Are you ready to discover your best self? As your Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I'm here to help you pinpoint your concerns and foster a trusting relationship to move towards a healthier you. I truly believe we can make this happen, and soon. My approach centers on respect, empowerment, and positive change, working together to highlight your strengths and resilience for personal growth.

I hold a Master’s in Counselor Education from Penn State University with an emphasis in secondary school counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology, complemented by my recognition as a Penn State Schreyer Honors Scholar. My clinical experience includes serving as a school counselor in Centre County school districts and as a mental health counselor in private practice and a non-profit community-based agency, totaling 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience across outpatient, school, and community settings. I am a National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTP), and ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), with specialized training that equips me to address trauma and ADHD with expertise and compassion. I invite you to schedule an appointment to experience personalized support tailored to your unique needs.

In my personal life, I enjoy being active, spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, exercising, travel and reading.

My approach to therapy

As a Mental Health Counselor, I bring warmth, genuineness, and positivity to my practice, focusing on clients' lived experiences, daily functioning, and life purpose. I believe that to effectively address clients' concerns, one must foster new thoughts, behaviors, and perspectives to evaluate their past, present, and future with renewed clarity and optimism. Having a higher sense of purpose is a unique characteristic paramount to overall wellness. This involves asking critical questions about one's values, vision, mission, and daily actions to align them with personal goals.

What you can expect from me

Our goal for each session is to foster and solidify new behaviors and thought patterns, leading to a deeper understanding and a stronger sense of empowerment. This growth occurs within a therapeutic relationship grounded in genuineness, openness, trust, safety, and truthfulness. Together, we will explore and highlight your strengths while clarifying your concerns. My unwavering commitment to aiding each client in discovering their optimal self is the cornerstone of my practice.
