Great to meet you!

Welcome. I help teens, students, young professionals, adults, and families in Pennsylvania and in-person in the Penn State/State College / Centre County area. Together we will identify primary concerns, how to move forward and appreciate yourself and the challenges of life with empowerment, perspective and gratitude. I truly believe we can make real progress—and soon.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of experience and a Penn State M.Ed. in Counselor Education (Schreyer Honors Scholar), plus a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. I’ve worked as a Centre County school counselor and as a therapist in private practice and community settings. I’m an NCC, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). My approach centers on respect, empowerment, and your strengths—with warmth, genuineness, and practical change.

Outside of sessions you’ll find me in the Penn State and broader Centre County community, and enjoying local activities with family and friends. Schedule in-person, telehealth or both.

My approach to therapy

As a Mental Health Counselor, I bring warmth, genuineness, and positivity to my practice, focusing on clients' lived experiences, daily functioning, and life purpose. I believe that to effectively address clients' concerns, one must foster new thoughts, behaviors, and perspectives to evaluate their past, present, and future with renewed clarity and optimism. Having a higher sense of purpose is a unique characteristic paramount to overall wellness. This involves asking critical questions about one's values, vision, mission, and daily actions to align them with personal goals.

What you can expect from me

Our goal for each session is to foster and solidify new behaviors and thought patterns, leading to a deeper understanding and a stronger sense of empowerment. This growth occurs within a therapeutic relationship grounded in genuineness, openness, trust, safety, and truthfulness. Together, we will explore and highlight your strengths while clarifying your concerns. My unwavering commitment to aiding each client in discovering their optimal self is the cornerstone of my practice.
