Great to meet you!

My work has been diverse in mental health. I have worked and pursued continuing education to help clients who are adjusting to big changes in life. These adjustments may bring anxiety, feeling down, worried or scared. I have been a therapist for over a decade and together making a plan with clients to help them gain perspective or add tools to their tool belt is something I enjoy.

My approach to therapy

I utilize evidence based tools. These include tools to measure how you are feeling now and setting goals to decrease those symptoms to help you feel better. I focus on things you can control and learning how thoughts, behaviors and emotions are connected. Also, I incorporate how your current mental health impacts us as humans and how we interact with others. I look at the entire system and help you decide what you want to change and explore where you want to start.

What you can expect from me

The first visit is information gathering and helping explore what you want to see different. I like to meet you where you are at and discuss what strategies have worked best for you.
