Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. My name is Dunia Gibson, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with more than eight years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals across the lifespan in primary care, psychiatry, and addiction medicine. I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, substance use disorders, and other co-occurring conditions.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the best mental health care begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and open communication. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized because I recognize that no two people have the same experiences or needs.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns, experiences, and goals.
