Great to meet you!

My name is Dustin Palmer. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working for 6 years now. The majority of my work experience has been working as an EAP counselor and as a substance treatment counselor. My practice specializes in treating working professionals dealing with burnout/compassion fatigue, anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to treatment. This is especially true in working professionals, especially those who may have some knowledge about mental health practices but need help implementing changes for themselves. Treatment with me can look like a regimented program of specific exercises, feel more like a conversation as you explore yourself and your motivations, or something in-between, depending on what works best for you.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients typically leave treatment having a better understanding of themselves. We identify issues and patterns that have led up to the symptoms that brought someone in. Clients generally leave with a maintenance plan so they can continue recognizing and preventing symptoms from throwing them off course again with strategies we found to work in treatment.
