Great to meet you!

There's a weight that comes from carrying a substance use struggle, a mental health diagnosis, or a painful family situation alone for years before ever picking up the phone. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship and family conflict, and substance use or addiction, as well as men navigating difficult transitions and anyone processing the end of life with someone they love. I also work with people affected by domestic violence, whether they are seeking to change their own behavior or recovering from someone else's.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, you'll find a judgment free space where you're never shamed for where you are right now. We start by naming what's really going on and setting goals that actually matter to you, then build a plan you'll want to stick with. I bring over three decades of experience supporting people through substance use and addiction recovery, and I'm especially practiced in helping clients see how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, so they can let go of beliefs that have been holding them back. Clients who do best with me are ready to look honestly at the patterns they want to change, even when that's uncomfortable.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will feel more like an honest conversation than an interview. I want to hear what brought you here, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping looks different six months from now, and we'll start shaping a plan around that together. If you're ready to stop carrying this alone, I'd be glad to be the person on the other end of that first call.
