Great to meet you!

Hi all I am Dwyana! I served in the Navy for 10 years. I enjoy working with individuals from different backgrounds and consider myself to be culturally competent. I believe that life, like therapy, is about pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, embracing growth learning and developing healthy habits that develop into new behaviors and patterns that ultimately make an individual the best version of themselves. I do have a West Indian background and consider myself very culturally diverse.

My approach to therapy

I am passionate about taking an integrative holistic approach using Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, SFBT. Person-centered, Psychoeducation and Motivational Interviewing ensures that each client receives a personalized, collaborative approach unique.

My focus is on the client’s overall goals toward mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. I am excited and honored to walk with you on your journey.

What you can expect from me

I take a holistic approach examining not only the person, but their environment, collective experiences, and interpersonal trauma in hopes to assist with navigating life and breaking toxic cycles. Our mental health serves as the foundation for our everyday functions. We need to THRIVE & not just survive.

Treatment is collaborative and solution focused, I understand that YOU are the expert in your own life and will work with you to tailor a treatment approach to your specific and unique needs.
