Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Dr. Dyan Connelly, a UC Berkeley-trained clinical psychologist, dedicated to helping people heal, grow, and build more fulfilling lives and relationships. I know how exhausting it can be to hold it all together on the outside while feeling lost, anxious, or unworthy on the inside. In those moments, it’s easy to feel disconnected or stuck, unsure how to move forward or make sense of what you’re feeling. If you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, or tired relationship patterns, I offer a nonjudgmental space to untangle your struggles, build healthier relationships, and create a more grounded, meaningful life.
I believe the space between people is where meaning lives. It’s in the way we listen, care, show up, and engage with one another. This conviction guides my work, grounding research-informed strategies in a therapeutic relationship that offers safety, understanding, and honest reflection, so that healing is not just possible, but sustainable.
This commitment also informs how I show up for clients navigating the effects of trauma related to the ongoing realities of marginalization and systemic oppression. This is a deeply valued part of my work. I strive to offer a space where you feel truly seen, respected, and supported, drawing from trauma-informed, culturally responsive care and showing up with genuine care, curiosity, and a willingness to learn alongside you. I also provide support around identity and intimacy, affirming all expressions of healthy, consensual sexuality.
