Great to meet you!

I have been providing individual and couple's therapy to adults since 2015. I obtained my master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood University in Madison, WI. I have dedicated my career to specializing in C-PTSD. I am currently certified as an EMDR therapist.

My approach to therapy

I'd like to start by saying I am not your typical therapist. You can expect to hear some swearing, to get direct feedback and responsive conversation. You can also expect to receive some judgement, otherwise why would you be looking for therapy to help improve your life and relationships? Although some of these things may be hard to hear, they will be given with respect and the intention of helping you towards your goals.

What you can expect from me

In the beginning, I do more listening than talking to really get a full understanding of you, what you've been through and what you want to accomplish in therapy. As we continue working together, I will guide you through understanding yourself, why you do what you do and how that has helped you and hurt you in the past. We will work together to process and change the way you see yourself and engage in your relationships.
