Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Dylan Trahan. I've been an LPC for about 2.5 years now. I have primarily worked in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and inpatient settings as well individual work within my professional career.

The populations that I serve are mainly adolescent to geriatrics. Treatment areas include but not limited to addiction, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and men's issues.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a variety of therapeutic tools, with a strong foundation in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT): an approach rooted in the idea that our thoughts and beliefs powerfully shape how we feel and act. Together, we'll explore the thinking patterns that may no longer be serving you, and work toward replacing them with perspectives that support your growth and wellbeing

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a gentle introduction - no pressure, just a chance to connect. You'll complete a short intake form, and then we'll have an open conversation about what's been going on for you and what's bringing you to therapy right now. I'll also take time to answer any questions you have and explain how confidentiality works so you can feel safe and comfortable from the very start.
