Great to meet you!

My name is Ebony. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 26 years of experience working with Adults struggling with mental health issues and Caregivers and Families. I received my Bachelors and Masters degree from Florida State University and became licensed by the State of Florida in 2000. I specialize in treating functional impairments related to depression and anxiety; relationship/family conflicts; trauma; and occupational and societal stressors.

Nothing has to be "wrong" for therapy to be effective. Therapy is more than treatment. It is a safe space for you to manage daily struggles free from judgment and fault.

My approach to therapy

My clinical practice is behaviorally oriented and tailored to your specific needs. I will partner with you to identify and challenge thoughts and behaviors that impact your ability to live a quality life, free from overwhelming symptoms of untreated mental health issues.

While my therapy approach is generally solution-focused I recognize that there is no "one size fits all" as it relates to therapy. I want to hear your Story and what matters to you. From there we will develop a plan of care that maximizes your strengths and enables you to live through life's struggles.

What you can expect from me

Aside from introductions, during our first session Clients will have the opportunity to tell their story. How did you decide to seek Therapy? And what matters to you? Based on your story and priorities, together we will work towards developing a plan of care that fits your needs.
