Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Ebony Clinton (she/her), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and become the most authentic version of themselves. My goal is to meet you where you are and create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to reach your full potential. I earned a BA in Child Development and Family Studies, MA in Psychology, and a MA in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Throughout my career, I have worked in different capacities through nonprofit community based agencies providing community mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is centered on meeting you where you are while partnering with you to move toward the life you want to create. I believe that healthy relationships begin with the relationship we have with ourselves. Together, we can explore the challenges that may be keeping you from living authentically, strengthen your sense of self-worth, and build the tools needed to navigate life's transitions and relationships with confidence and resilience. For those who desire it, I also enjoy incorporating spirituality and faith into the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and you don't have to take it alone. I look forward to walking alongside of you, meeting you where you are, and supporting you as you work toward the life you envision for yourself. Therefore, you can expect that building a therapeutic relationship takes time to develop rapport in understanding your needs and wants, building trust so you feel safe, seen, and heard. Patience, understanding, and reflecting, is also part of meeting you where you are to work towards where you want to be. I am here for you.
