Ebony Fenwick

Ebony Fenwick is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Board-Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC-BC) in Virginia. With over 13 years of mental health experience, Ebony has worked in numerous settings. She works with adults who are dealing with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, substance misuse, and post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms. Ebony earned her Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She prioritizes staying current with evidence-based practices to best support her Clients.

Ebony strives to provide excellent care for those on their healing journeys dealing with a variety of personal issues resulting in the experience of challenging emotions or unhealthy behaviors. Her theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but she has experience utilizing other therapies to assist her clients. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and utilizes Cognitive Processing Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Recovery Empowerment Model (TREM), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Also, she is a ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider who works with her Clients to learn more about the diagnoses and find ways to life more effectively with symptoms.

Ebony is passionate about providing those she serves with the educational tools, cognitive strategies, relaxation ideas, and emotional support to manage whatever challenges they are facing. Using compassion, empathy and a little humor, she empowers others to make progress along their self-healing journey.
