Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist in Florida with over 15 years of experience, I specialize in helping individuals navigate complex life transitions, relationship challenges, and the ongoing journey of personal growth. My work is centered on empowering clients to develop deeper self-understanding, heal from past experiences, and cultivate authentic, meaningful connections.

Grounded in trauma-informed care, my approach integrates compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practices to support healing and resilience. I work with clients facing issues such as self-esteem concerns, family dynamics, workplace stress, and young adult transitions. By fostering emotional awareness and communication skills, I help clients strengthen their capacity for balance, confidence, and self-compassion.

I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals work through transformation life stages—from navigating identity shifts to healing from feelings of isolation, shame, and abandonment. I believe that how we are shaped in childhood influences our emotional patterns and coping skills as adults, and through therapy, we can reshape these narratives to promote growth and well-being.

In our work together, you’ll find a safe, affirming space to explore your story, build emotional resilience, and move toward a greater sense of self-love, purpose, and peace. My goal is to honor your unique journey while guiding you toward sustainable, meaningful personal transformation.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and person-centered. I believe that each client is the expert of their own story, and my role is to provide guidance, insight, and tools that support healing and growth. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and experiences that shape your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, helping you gain clarity and a deeper sense of self-awareness.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Techniques, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), while integrating relational and strengths-based approaches. This allows therapy to be both structured and flexible—adapted to meet your individual needs and goals. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you move toward emotional balance and personal empowerment.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’d like to achieve, and any past experiences with counseling or life stressors that feel important to share. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and strengths, but there’s no pressure to share more than you feel ready to.

Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals for therapy and discuss the best approach to help you reach them. Most clients leave the first session feeling relieved to have taken the first step and more hopeful about the path forward. You can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where your story is respected and your pace is honored.
