Great to meet you!

Welcome. Taking the step to begin therapy is a powerful investment in your life, your relationships, and your healing. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 13 years of experience in the social work field and 7 years of clinical practice, I provide an inclusive, compassionate, and collaborative space where you can feel fully seen, heard, and supported.

I specialize in working with couples, families, school-aged children, adolescents, young adults, and women. My practice is proudly inclusive of LGBTQIA+ individuals and Communities of Color, offering a culturally responsive space to process life transitions, relational challenges, and healing from past trauma.

My approach to therapy

Because no two individuals or families are the same, I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I provide custom-tailored treatment for individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions. Drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, and Art Therapy, we will build a unique therapeutic roadmap designed around your specific strengths and goals.

Whether you are looking to strengthen your partnership, support your child's emotional growth, or navigate personal life changes, I am here to walk alongside you.

What you can expect from me

The initial session, often called an intake assessment, is primarily about establishing rapport, gathering history, and setting a clear foundation for your work together. While style varies by clinician, clients can generally expect the structure to cover a few key areas:

Administrative Housekeeping (10–15 minutes): Reviewing consent forms, confidentiality and its legal limits, practice policies, fee structures, and handling any immediate administrative questions.

Exploring Presenting Concerns (15–20 minutes): Discussing what brought them to therapy right now, current symptoms, recent stressors, and what they hope to gain from the process.

Biopsychosocial History (10–15 minutes): Gathering context on their background, including mental health history, family dynamics, physical health, support systems, and previous therapy experiences.

Goal Setting & Next Steps (5–10 minutes): Outline preliminary treatment goals, answer questions about your therapeutic approach, address any anxiety about therapy, and confirm scheduling for future sessions.
