Hi! My name is Ebony Kennedy and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. I have served as a school counselor and currently a mental health counselor. Altogether, I have been a counselor for 14 years. I have experience helping preteens, teens and adults overcome anxiety, control anger, recover from depression, and relieve work place stress, I've also helped clients handle relationship issues, and find sources of joy in their lives.
I enjoy helping clients gain control of their thoughts so they can have control of their actions and goals. Oftentimes, we can become overwhelmed with the challenges life can present. I would like to help you process your thoughts and feelings, and help you strengthen skills that will allow you to overcome current and future challenges. I mainly utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to help my clients reach their goals.
During your first session, I will take time to understand your reason for seeking a counselor. We will talk and I will ask questions to understand your situation. Once we start our second session, we will focus on your goals that we will set together. Counseling can can help improve your work, home, and social life.
