I am a licensed professional counselor, and possess a B.A. in Psychology, M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and specialize in treating PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and work with adolescences and their families navigating mental health issues, self-harm, and suicidality. I work with couples and children and have a variety of skills to reach diverse populations and presenting issues.
My approach to therapy is very person centered, and driven with a good balance of clinically informed practices that do not compromise compassion in the care I provide. I believe in utilizing the strength and uniqueness of every individual to build resilience and instill hope for the future.
Our first session will be dedicated to getting to know you as a person in the context of your family of origin, cultural and spiritual beliefs, clinical and medical history, in order to gain a sense of your strengths and challenges. From there we will establish targeted goals and partner to develop your treatment plan.
