Hi, I’m Ebony, a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps children, teens, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support. I earned my psychology degree from Georgia State University, my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, and I’m currently completing my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
I specialize in supporting children and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, social-emotional challenges, self-esteem difficulties, and adjustment-related stress. I also work closely with families, offering guidance and practical tools throughout therapy. My approach is warm, personalized, and strength-based, and I often use CBT and play therapy to help clients better understand emotions, build coping skills, and create lasting change.
In our first session, I focus on creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where you and your child can feel comfortable, heard, and understood. I’ll take time to learn about your concerns, strengths, and goals, answer questions, and explain what therapy may look like moving forward. Depending on your child’s age and comfort level, sessions may include conversation, play-based activities, and coping tools to help them feel supported, empowered, and hopeful.
