Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m E.C. Kissner Art Therapist | Creative Consultant + Career Coach for Arts + Innovation Entrepreneurs — If you’re someone who feels accomplished on the outside but stretched thin on the inside, you’re in the right place. Many of the people I work with are navigating burnout, transitions, stress, uncertainty about next steps, or a sense that life’s moving faster (or slower) than they can keep up with. You might want clarity, balance, and a way to turn insight into real-world change .... I specialize in creating a judgmental space that allows for both professional development & general life as well as mental health questions to unfold. — respectful of your identity, personal cultural context and lived experiences, while supporting you in moving from contemplating goals to moving them forward. Life imitates art so the trajectory to present will always be fully customized & right sized for your needs, working style and personal preferences.

My approach to therapy

I believe self-understanding and growth should feel generative, creative, sane and collaborative. Clients describe me as kind, curious, and supportive — someone who helps them make sense of their inner world while staying grounded in tangible (actionable) steps forward. Together, we’ll explore what’s been hard and build skills, priorities, and ways of coping that feel real and useful in daily life. I blend creative expression with practical support and focus on your story, not your label.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you in and what you hope to accomplish in therapy or build an understanding around. You’ll have space to share your story and be heard without judgment. From there, we can start shaping a plan that feels right for you — one that honors your strengths and supports you where things feel stuck, restless, or unclear. Over time, many people say they feel more grounded, better able to navigate stress and change, and more connected to their own priorities and resilience.
