Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over nine years of experience supporting individuals and families through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions.

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Problem‐Solving Treatment, and Behavioral Activation. I also integrate trauma‐informed care and culturally responsive practices, especially when working with Spanish‐speaking clients, parents, and individuals navigating complex family or relational stress. My style is gentle but structured — I help you understand what’s happening internally while also giving you tools you can use right away.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from LeTourneau University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Texas A&M University–Kingsville. I provide services in English.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‐based practices. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to breathe, sort through what’s heavy, and build practical skills that genuinely make life easier.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Problem‐Solving Treatment, Behavioral Activation, and trauma‐informed care. These approaches help us explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while also giving you concrete strategies to manage anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and life stressors.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of safety and trust. I take a warm, collaborative approach, and I’ll guide the conversation at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

We’ll start by talking about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping to change or understand. I’ll ask gentle, open‐ended questions to help me get a clear picture of your symptoms, your strengths, and the stressors in your life. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel ready for, there’s no pressure to tell your whole story at once!
