Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Eddie Williams, a licensed therapist with extensive experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, trauma, and relationship challenges. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming emotions, working through a difficult relationship, or feeling stuck in a challenging season of life, we’ll focus on understanding what’s happening and finding practical ways forward. My goal is to help you develop healthier coping skills, build on your strengths, and create greater balance and well-being in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, holistic, and collaborative. I draw from CBT, trauma-focused approaches, motivational interviewing, family and couples therapy, mindfulness, and other evidence-based techniques to create treatment that fits your individual needs.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we’ll work together to understand your goals, identify what may be holding you back, and develop strategies that create meaningful change both inside and outside of therapy. My goal is for you to feel empowered and equipped to handle life’s challenges with greater confidence.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to accomplish. You can expect a welcoming, judgment-free conversation where we’ll begin identifying your goals and the areas where you’d like to see change.

We’ll also start exploring practical coping strategies to help reduce emotional distress and support your overall well-being. You don’t need to have everything figured out, we’ll take the process one step at a time.
