Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults. I have extensive experience in acute and complex psychiatric presentations, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and serious mental illness.

My clinical background includes working with patients in high-acuity settings where I regularly assess psychiatric symptoms, evaluate safety, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams. I bring a thoughtful, evidence-based, and patient-centered approach to treatment, with a strong focus on medication optimization, side-effect management, and shared decision-making.

I am especially interested in working with adults seeking ongoing medication management and longitudinal care in a supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment.

My approach to therapy

I focus on evidence-based medication management combined with collaborative treatment planning. I prioritize careful diagnostic evaluation, medication selection based on symptom profile and patient preference, and close follow-up to monitor response and tolerability. I work closely with patients to adjust treatment plans over time and support long-term stability and functioning.

What you can expect from me

During your first visit, we will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation focused on understanding your current symptoms, past treatment experiences, medical history, and goals for care. We will review prior medications, what has and has not worked for you, and any concerns you may have about treatment.

My goal for the first session is to develop a clear and accurate diagnosis and create an individualized treatment plan together. When appropriate, we will discuss medication options, expected benefits, possible side effects, and next steps in a collaborative and transparent way.

I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental, and calm environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in decisions about your care. Follow-up planning and ongoing medication monitoring are an important part of my approach to help support long-term stability and improvement.
