Great to meet you!

Is your child struggling with anxiety, emotional outbursts, behavior challenges, low self-esteem, or difficulty expressing feelings? As a bilingual child and teen therapist, I help children, adolescents, and families develop healthier communication, emotional regulation skills, coping strategies, and confidence in a safe and supportive environment. Many parents reach out feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to help their child navigate big emotions, and therapy can provide both children and caregivers with the tools and support needed to feel more connected and confident.

I specialize in working with children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, behavioral issues, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem challenges, school stress, family transitions, and parenting support. Using play therapy, CBT techniques, and trauma-informed care, I help children build coping skills in a natural and engaging way.

As a bilingual therapist, I understand the unique dynamics many Hispanic and bilingual families experience around communication, emotions, and family expectations. I provide therapy in English and Spanish and work closely with caregivers to support lasting growth at home and school. I offer in-person sessions in Miami Lakes and telehealth throughout Florida.

My approach to therapy

I provide a warm, supportive, and engaging approach to therapy where children, teens, and families feel safe expressing themselves and working through challenges. I believe strong therapeutic relationships and emotional safety are essential for meaningful growth and healing. Using play therapy, CBT techniques, art-based interventions, and trauma-informed care, I help clients build emotional regulation, coping skills, confidence, and healthier communication in a way that feels natural and developmentally appropriate. I also value parent involvement and work collaboratively with caregivers to support lasting growth both in and outside of sessions.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and supportive first session focused on building comfort, connection, and understanding. During the initial visit, we will work to better understand current concerns, therapy goals, emotional and behavioral challenges, family dynamics, and any important background information. For children and teens, the first session may also include play-based or creative activities to help them feel comfortable expressing themselves in a natural way. My goal is to create a safe space where both clients and caregivers feel heard, supported, and understood.
