Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Edena and I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have degrees in biology, public health and nursing. I obtained my MSN from Vanderbilt University after years of working with incarcerated people and in substance abuse facilities. My most common diagnoses are ADHD, depression, and anxiety.

My approach to therapy

I typically use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focused approaches to care.

What you can expect from me

During your first visit I'll ask a lot of questions so I can get to know you and help identify possible areas of improvement. Together we'll come up with a treatment plan which can include medication, therapy, and/or a referral. My goal is to make you feel heard and comfortable. We work together to come up with a plan that you're comfortable with that is evidenced based and measurable.
