Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. My name is Eder Perez, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, I enjoy serving individuals, couples, and families. I am passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

I earned my degree in counseling from Northern Arizona University and have experience working with clients facing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, and trauma. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person's unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centered approaches to help clients develop practical skills and achieve their goals.

As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish and am committed to making mental health care accessible and culturally responsive. Whether you are seeking support for a specific challenge or looking to improve your overall well-being, I look forward to working with you on your journey toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that every individual has unique strengths and experiences, and I work alongside clients to help them better understand themselves, overcome challenges, and create meaningful change in their lives.

I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and strengths-based interventions to help clients develop practical coping skills and achieve their personal goals. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

I specialize in working with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, and trauma-related challenges. As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish and value culturally responsive care that honors each client's background, identity, and values.

My goal is to help clients gain insight, build resilience, and develop the tools they need to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives. I believe therapy is a partnership, and I tailor treatment to each client's individual needs and preferences.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they can share their concerns at their own pace. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood from the very beginning.

We will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, relevant personal history, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and goals, while also giving you the opportunity to ask questions about the therapy process.

Together, we will begin identifying priorities for treatment and developing goals that are meaningful and realistic for your situation. By the end of the session, clients often leave with a clearer understanding of their concerns, a sense of direction for therapy, and a plan for how we will work together moving forward.

My focus is on creating a collaborative relationship where you feel supported, respected, and empowered as we work toward positive and lasting change. I provide services in both English and Spanish and strive to offer culturally responsive care that meets each client's unique needs.
