Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Edgar! I’m a bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with adults, couples, and families. Whether you’re navigating relationship struggles, major life transitions, or repeating old patterns, I create a space where you can explore what’s not working and build something better. I welcome and affirm clients of all identities and relationship structures, including LGBTQ+ individuals, polyamorous couples, and those exploring consensual non-monogamy. My work helps clients gain insight while taking practical steps toward meaningful change, so they feel understood, seen, and empowered to create healthier relationships with themselves and others.

My approach to therapy

I believe our relationships shape who we are, so much of my work focuses on helping clients understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck. My style is warm, collaborative, and intentional—I ask thoughtful questions, offer new perspectives, and gently challenge thoughts that aren’t serving you. I specialize in supporting couples and families navigating communication challenges, trust concerns (including infedility), and major life transitions, as well as individuals working on romantic relationships, family dynamics, or dating challenges. Sessions balance reflection with forward movement, and goals are set at a pace that feels realistic and supportive.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming space where I’ll focus on understanding what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. I’ll explore your experiences, relationships, and current challenges while making room for what feels most important to you to share. Together, we’ll clarify goals and identify next steps that feel helpful and manageable. My aim is for you to leave with a clearer sense of direction and whether working together feels like a good fit. If this approach resonates, let's schedule a time to connect—I’d be happy to take the next step with you.
