Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and families in community-based behavioral health. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, motivation, relationships, family challenges, and major life transitions. My style is warm, direct, and down-to-earth, with the belief that clients should feel genuinely heard while also being supported and challenged to grow. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, strengths-based approaches, and behavioral interventions based on each client’s individual needs. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, build practical skills, recognize your strengths, and move toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself and know that you’re genuinely being heard. We’ll work together to understand what’s getting in the way, recognize your strengths, and identify realistic changes that can improve your life. My style is warm and supportive, but also direct—I’m comfortable having the difficult conversations when they can help you grow. I’ll listen without judgment, challenge you when appropriate, and help you develop practical tools you can use outside of our sessions. And while therapy can involve serious conversations, I also believe there’s room for humor, connection, and simply being human.

What you can expect from me

Our first few sessions will focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you’d like to change or improve. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not an interview, so we’ll move at a pace that allows you to feel comfortable and heard. Together, we’ll develop realistic goals and focus on practical strategies that fit your life. You can expect me to listen, support you, recognize your strengths, and also challenge you when I believe it can help you grow. Most importantly, I want you to leave our sessions feeling understood and with a clearer sense of how to move forward.
