Dr. Villarreal is a leading psychologist dedicated to helping people live a values based life. He has a PhD in Psychology from Texas A&M University and received specialized training in trauma treatment at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Villarreal has spent his 15 year career working with veterans and others, focusing on improving mental health care, readjustment issues, and preventing suicide. He's held important jobs at the VA, including managing mental health programs and leading suicide prevention efforts. Currently, he's the National Clinical Director for Suicide Prevention for the VA Healthcare System, demonstrating his dedication to this critical issue. He is a recognized expert and leader in the field of psychology as he currently is the President Elect for Division 18-Psychologists in Public Service which represents thousands of psychologists in the field
