Great to meet you!

Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re navigating grief, trauma, depression, or anxiety on your own. I’m Edie Sue Sutker, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through difficult life transitions. I’m known for my empathic approach and my ability to meet clients where they are. I believe in truly listening and understanding your experiences and values so we can work together toward meaningful healing and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and trauma-informed practices to help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and better understand the patterns shaping your life. Together, we work toward greater clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to begin building a comfortable and supportive connection. You’ll have the opportunity to share what has been weighing on you, and we’ll start exploring ways to help you feel less alone in your struggles. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forward.
