About Me

What should your client know about you?

I'm Edith Arias (she/her/ella), a first-generation Salvadoran-American Licensed Clinical Social Worker and life coach from South East Los Angeles. I specialize in supporting people of color through anxiety, ADHD, burnout, and life transitions — blending therapy, coaching, yoga, and mindfulness into an approach that is warm, practical, and uniquely yours.

I believe healing doesn't have to feel heavy. My goal is to create a space where you can breathe, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself. Whether you're a student figuring out who you are, a professional running on empty, or someone simply ready for something to feel different — I'm here for it.

Growing up first-generation Salvadoran-American in Southeast LA taught me what it means to navigate between worlds, carry family expectations, and figure out who you are in the middle of it all. That lived experience shapes everything about how I show up for my clients.

I earned my Master of Social Work 15 years ago and along the way became a certified yoga teacher and life coach — because the mind and body have to heal together. I work primarily with people of color, including students, young professionals, neurodivergent adults, burned-out helpers, and first-generation immigrants navigating identity and life transitions. I love working with people who are highly capable but overwhelmed, in the middle of big life changes, and ready to stop just getting through the day and start actually thriving.

I offer services in English and Spanish.

What is your approach to therapy?

My approach is holistic, integrative, and grounded in who you actually are — not just your symptoms. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, somatic practices, and coaching to create something uniquely tailored to you, your nervous system, and your life.

At the core of my work is a culturally responsive, community-centered perspective. I understand that anxiety, burnout, and ADHD don't exist in a vacuum — family dynamics, cultural pressures, and the everyday weight of navigating systems that weren't built for us all shape how we feel and function. Our work together will always honor that full picture.

Sessions with me are collaborative, warm, and real. I'm not here to just listen and nod — I'm here to actively help you build clarity, tools, and momentum. Whether we're working through a big life transition, learning to manage ADHD in a way that actually fits your brain, untangling burnout, or simply creating more ease and joy in your daily life — I bring my full presence and genuine investment to every session.

Healing doesn't have to feel like a heavy lift. Sometimes it looks like finally understanding yourself better, setting boundaries that actually stick, or building a life that feels good to wake up to.

What can clients expect from their first session with you?

Your first session is about connection, comfort, and curiosity — not pressure. We'll start by getting to know each other and talking about what brought you in and what you're hoping to feel or create in your life. There's no agenda beyond making sure you feel safe and heard.

I'll ask some questions about your background, your experiences, and what has or hasn't worked for you in the past — not to put you in a box, but to understand your whole picture. Your cultural context, your relationships, your daily life — it all matters here.

By the end of our first session, you'll have a clear sense of how I work and whether we're a good fit. I'll share some early thoughts, and together we'll start mapping out what our work could look like going forward.

Most people come in feeling a little nervous — that's completely normal. What I hear most often after a first session is that people leave feeling lighter, clearer, and a little more hopeful than when they came in. That's always the goal.

You are welcome here exactly as you are — in English or Spanish, wherever you are in your journey, ready to thrive.
