Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish) specializing in psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. I support women navigating major life transitions; including career changes, becoming a parent, divorce or breakups, re-entering dating, and times when the life you have built no longer feels aligned with who you are becoming.

I believe therapy is a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and explore the deeper experiences and patterns that shape how you see yourself and relate to others. Together, we will explore what is shifting beneath the surface while also building practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, navigate change, and reconnect with the present moment.

Many of the women I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or uncertain about who they are outside of familiar roles and expectations. Through our work together, clients often develop greater clarity, confidence, self-awareness, and a stronger connection to their authentic selves.

I offer sessions in both English and Spanish (Ofrezco terapia en español) and strive to create a compassionate, culturally responsive, and supportive space where you can feel safe exploring your story and creating meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when we understand both where we have been and where we want to go. I integrate psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches to support clients in creating deeper self-awareness while developing practical tools for everyday life.

Through a psychodynamic lens, we explore the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped the way you see yourself, connect with others, and respond to challenges. Understanding these deeper roots can help you recognize patterns that may no longer serve you and create space for new choices.

Using CBT, we identify thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that may contribute to anxiety, self-doubt, or feeling stuck. Together, we develop practical strategies to manage difficult emotions, navigate transitions, and build confidence in your ability to cope with change.

Mindfulness-based practices help you reconnect with the present moment, increase self-compassion, and develop a greater sense of calm and clarity during times of uncertainty.

My goal is not only to help you manage symptoms, but to support you in understanding yourself more fully and creating a life that feels authentic and aligned with who you are becoming. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I will meet you with curiosity, warmth, and respect as we work together toward meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship. We will take time to explore what brings you to therapy, the changes or challenges you are navigating, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you are sharing parts of your story that may feel uncertain, painful, or difficult to put into words. You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin. My role is to listen with compassion, ask thoughtful questions, and help you feel understood as we identify what matters most to you.

Together, we will explore your current experiences, relationships, patterns, strengths, and the life transitions that may be shaping how you see yourself and your future.

We will begin identifying goals for therapy and discussing how our work together can support you in gaining clarity, building confidence, managing emotions, and reconnecting with a stronger sense of self.

Whether we meet in English or Spanish, my hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the possibility of meaningful change.
