Great to meet you!

A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), I have a Master of Science degree in Counseling (SMU) and a Master of Arts in Brain and Behavioral Sciences (UT-Dallas).

I work extensively with those who suffer from eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and those who struggle with making good life decisions.

I describe myself, not as a Christian Counselor, but as a counselor who is Christian.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe the biggest decision we make is how to live daily. There are several factors that affect this decision, from the physiological to the experiential. My counseling style has been described as warm, empathic, direct, and strength-based, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

I work to help individuals, couples, and families be more relational with themselves and others by exploring how what they do, believe, and feel from the past impact their present teaching and providing skills and information to change the course of the trajectory of their future. I work to make major changes, one thought at a time.
