Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to do it alone. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.

I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings. My background includes psychiatric hospitals, intensive outpatient treatment, case management, and individual therapy. I currently work in an Intensive Outpatient Program with the County of San Diego, helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and other mental health challenges.

As an Army veteran who served eight years, including a deployment to Iraq, I understand the unique challenges that military service, transitions, and trauma can bring. I’m also passionate about supporting women and new or expecting mothers as they navigate the emotional changes that come with pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, and balancing life’s many responsibilities.

As a mom of two myself, I understand that life isn’t always easy, and asking for support takes courage.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach, so I work alongside you to better understand your experiences, identify your strengths, and develop practical tools that support lasting change.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, or a major life transition, I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. I believe healing happens through connection, and together we’ll build on your strengths while working toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another. I’ll invite you to share what brought you to therapy, what challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to tell your entire story all at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how we can work together to help you reach your goals.
