Great to meet you!

Welcome. I am Edline Major, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment.

With more than 12 years of nursing experience, including leadership in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, chronic care management, rehabilitation, and emergency response, I understand that seeking mental health care is a significant step. Every individual deserves to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in treatment decisions.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, trauma-related disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), insomnia, and other mental health concerns.

At Major Chronic Care Solutions (E.A.R.) LLC, I believe that mental health care is about more than treating symptoms. It is about restoring hope, building resilience, and helping every patient achieve lasting emotional wellness through compassionate, personalized, evidence-based care.

My approach to therapy

Every person has a unique story, and treatment should reflect individual needs, values, and goals.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I begin by taking the time to understand your concerns, symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and personal goals before developing a personalized treatment plan.

Treatment may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, patient education, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with other healthcare professionals when appropriate. Every recommendation is tailored to your individual circumstances.

I believe meaningful progress is built on trust, open communication, and shared decision-making. Together, we will monitor your progress, make thoughtful adjustments as needed, and work toward helping you achieve long-term emotional wellness.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is designed to establish a strong foundation for your care.

During our initial visit, we will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, review your medical and mental health history, discuss your current symptoms, identify your treatment goals, and answer any questions you may have.

If medication is appropriate, we will carefully discuss the expected benefits, potential risks, possible side effects, and available treatment options so that you can make informed decisions with confidence.

My goal is for every patient to leave the first appointment feeling heard, respected, informed, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
