Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinican Social Worker who believes therapy should be a space where you can show up as your full self without fear of judgment. My goal is to create a supportive, honest, and compassionate environment where clients feel safe enough to explore the experiences, patterns, relationships, and beliefs that may be affecting their lives.

My clinical experience includes workinging with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship and attachment concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and personal growth. My background also includes extensvie experience with correctional mental health, which has given me the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds and with complex life experiences.

I especially enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, not only what they are feeling or experiencing, but the patterns, beliefs, and past experiences that may be influencing where they are today. I believe increased self awareness can create space for healing, healthier relationships, stronger boundaries, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe understanding where a pattern comes from can be just as important as learning how to change it. Together, we may explore past experiences, relationships, attachment patterns, and beliefs that have shaped the way you see yourself, others, and the world around you.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and attachment-based interventions. Rather than using one approach for every client, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, goals, personality, and experiences.

You can expect me to engaged and genuine in the therapy process. I listen and provide support, but will also ask thoughtful questions, offer feedback, help you recognize patterns, and gently challenge you when it may be helpful. My goal is not simply to help you cope with what you are experiencing, but to help you develop greater self-awareness, healthier ways of responding, and skills that support meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get toknow one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We will talk about what has been happening in your life, what you would like support with, and what you hope will be different as a result of therapy. We will talk about your history, relationships, strengths, current challenges, and previous experiences with therapy.

I understand that opening up to someone new can feel uncomfortable, so you will not be expected to share everything at once. W will move at a pace that feels appropriate while begining to identify your goals and what you would like our work together to focus on.

Most importantly, I want you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and hopeful about the work ahead. You do not need to come to therapy with all the right words or all the answers. Just come as you are and we will begin from there!
