Great to meet you!

I am Dr. E (Dr. Ednora B. Mason, DNP, MSN, PMHNP-BC, PMHNP-C), a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in healthcare. My background includes extensive work in mental health, community-based services, and medication management across a variety of care settings.

I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, schizophrenia, and other complex mental health conditions. My approach is holistic, recognizing that mental health is influenced by more than symptoms alone—it is also shaped by physical health, environment, and life experiences.

Clients often tell me they appreciate that I bring both clinical expertise and real-world understanding to care. My goal is to create a supportive, respectful space where you feel heard, understood, and guided toward greater stability and an improved quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I take a thoughtful and collaborative approach to care, combining clinical expertise with genuine understanding. My treatment approach focuses on accurate diagnosis, effective medication management, and helping you feel informed and supported throughout the process.

I do not believe in rushed or one-size-fits-all care. I take the time to listen, understand your concerns, and develop a treatment plan that aligns with your individual needs and goals. Education is also an important part of my approach, so you can feel confident about your treatment and what to expect moving forward.

My goal is simple: to help you feel better, function better, and regain a sense of control and stability in your life.

What you can expect from me

When you meet with me, you can expect a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable speaking openly about your concerns.

During our first session, I focus on understanding the full picture of your mental health history, current symptoms, past treatments, and personal goals. I take the time to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and make sure nothing important is overlooked. We will also review your medication history and current needs to help guide safe and effective treatment decisions.

By the end of the session, my goal is for you to leave with a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your concerns and a thoughtful plan for moving forward. This may include treatment recommendations, medication options if appropriate, and next steps to support your stability, progress, and overall well-being.
