I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with 12 years experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and seasoned adults. A graduate of Texas A&M International University in 2006 with a Master of Science in School Counseling, I pursued my license in professional counseling by interning at the Children’s Bereavement Center of San Antonio and at Northside ISD, San Antonio, TX.

My approach to therapy

I believe the client’s intrinsic motivation to change is crucial in getting the most out of your therapy experience. My role is to facilitate and support the journey to reach your goals. My counseling tools include Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Informed CBT, Mind-Body Medicine, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (Attachment Theory based) Motivational Interviewing, supportive feedback, and empathy.
