Great to meet you!

I have 25 years of experience providing mental health and substance use recovery services both domestically and internationally. My specialty areas include trauma, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), grief, anger management, domestic violence, and couples therapy. Most importantly, I want clients to know that I will meet them with compassion, respect, and understanding as we work together toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel heard, respected, and safe enough to be honest about their experiences. Drawing on my experience in mental health and substance use recovery, I help clients better understand the challenges they are facing, develop practical tools, and build on their strengths. Whether we are addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, or another challenge, I work with clients at a pace that supports lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a welcoming and judgment-free space to share what brings them to therapy and what they hope to accomplish. We will discuss their concerns, relevant history, current challenges, and goals for treatment. I will also answer questions about the therapy process and begin developing a plan that reflects their needs. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and more hopeful about the next steps in their healing journey.
